Job Description
DataLine Graphics is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Professional Accountant to join our finance team in Kampala.
The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing and analyzing reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting financial decision-making for the business.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports.
- Ensure accurate bookkeeping and accounting records.
- Monitor accounts payable and receivable.
- Perform reconciliations of bank and ledger accounts.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
- Assist with audits and preparation of reports for management.
- Utilize accounting software (Sage Evolution) effectively for financial management.
