Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Executive to join our team in Kampala, Uganda. This role focuses on selling Raxio’s data centre colocation services to new clients, with a strong emphasis on C-level engagement, strategic business development, and complex deal closure.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
1. Executive Engagement
Build and manage relationships with C-level executives.
Clearly communicate our value proposition aligned with client business goals.
2. Strategic Business Development
Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Use financial insight to develop impactful client solutions.
3. Solution Consulting
Conduct in-depth assessments of client needs.
Collaborate with technical teams to design tailored solutions.
4. Proposals & Presentations
Develop persuasive sales proposals and executive-level presentations.
Translate technical concepts into clear business language.
5. Negotiation & Closing
Lead contract negotiations with new clients.
Consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
6. Market Intelligence
Monitor industry trends and competitor activity.
Provide insights to support product and service improvements.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Candidate Profile
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s is a plus)
Experience
5–10+ years in B2B sales, preferably in data centre colocation services
Proven ability to engage with executive-level stakeholders
Strong commercial acumen and deal-closing experience
Experience managing complex, high-value sales cycles
Attributes
Results-driven, proactive, and target-oriented
Willingness to travel for client engagements and industry events
High personal standards with the ability to motivate others
