Job Description
The successful candidate will work within Acronis’ Cloud2Cloud services team, which develops cyber protection for cloud-based workloads like Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. The services are written in Go and deployed on Kubernetes infrastructure. You will collaborate with international, distributed teams to deliver new product features and enhance existing functionality, focusing on performance, reliability, and scalability. This position requires strong software engineering skills, experience with APIs, databases, and cloud technologies, and a commitment to collaborative development.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain efficient and reliable Golang code
Review code, implement unit tests, debug, and integrate code into existing systems
Collaborate closely with engineers across teams to develop new features
Propose and implement improvements to current product functionality

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Required:
Minimum 3 years of experience in Golang development
Experience with REST APIs
Strong knowledge of software engineering principles: algorithms, data structures, multithreading
Experience with relational databases (MySQL, MS SQL, PostgreSQL)
Familiarity with Kubernetes
Experience using Git, JIRA, Bitbucket, Confluence
Fluent in English and able to communicate effectively with distributed teams
Preferred:
Experience with Microsoft APIs (Graph/EWS)
Experience with Google Cloud APIs (Drive/Mail)
Knowledge of RabbitMQ and messaging systems
Understanding of IMAP/SMTP protocols
