The Architect will define best practices for integration, ensure effective data support for decision-making, enhance disaster recovery strategies, and provide technical leadership across implementation lifecycles. They will also support digital transformation by shaping future-ready core banking solutions, addressing technical debt, and enabling seamless integration across platforms.

Identify gaps and propose improvements for core banking platforms to support new products and services.
Design scalable, secure, and compliant target-state architectures for core banking systems.
Evaluate platforms and emerging technologies through proof-of-concepts (POCs).
Ensure seamless integration between core banking and digital channels, payments, risk, and reporting systems.
Support data-driven decision-making and analytics initiatives.
Enhance business continuity and disaster recovery practices.
Provide technical guidance to development and implementation teams.
Participate in incident resolution and post-mortem reviews.
Manage technical documentation and reduce accrued technical debt.
Drive digital transformation through innovative architecture solutions.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field (Required)
Master’s degree in Technology or Business (Added Advantage)
Professional Certifications
Certifications in Core Banking Platforms (e.g., Temenos) – Desired
Cloud Solutions Architect Certification (AWS, Azure, or GCP) – Desired
TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification – Desired
Experience
10 years of progressive technology experience
7 years in core banking applications (development or architecture)
7 years of experience in banking domain and integration patterns
5 years in software delivery (Agile/Waterfall/DevOps)
5 years in enterprise architecture planning and documentation
Strong interpersonal, planning, collaboration, and organizational skills
