Job Title: Senior Credit Executive

Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Job Summary: We are looking for a seasoned and analytical Sr. Credit Executive to manage and optimize our company’s credit-granting process. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing the creditworthiness of potential clients, managing existing accounts, and implementing strategies to minimize bad debt risks. This role requires a professional who is open to relocating and thrives in a dynamic environment.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Evaluate credit applications and perform risk analysis on new and existing clients.
Develop and implement credit policies and procedures.
Manage the collections process for overdue accounts.
Prepare reports on credit and portfolio performance for management.
Negotiate payment plans with clients and resolve billing disputes.
Maintain accurate records of credit decisions and client interactions.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Strong understanding of financial statements and credit analysis techniques.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and decision-making skills.
