Job Description
The Senior Auto Electrician will be tasked with conducting electrical maintenance and repairs on a wide range of automotive equipment. This role includes troubleshooting electrical faults, diagnosing issues, and ensuring all electrical components of vehicles and machinery are in proper working condition. The Senior Auto Electrician will also be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of electrical systems, managing repair tasks, and working both independently and as part of a team. The role will be based on-site at Double Q’s facilities in Kampala.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Conduct electrical maintenance and repairs on automotive equipment.
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical faults in vehicles and machinery.
Ensure electrical systems function properly in all equipment.
Perform regular inspections and repairs to maintain electrical components.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure optimal equipment functionality.
Work independently or as part of a team to resolve electrical issues.
Maintain accurate records of all repairs, services, and electrical work completed.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Proven experience in electrical maintenance and repair.
Expertise in fault finding and troubleshooting electrical systems in automotive equipment.

Professional certification in Auto Electrical work.
Effective problem-solving skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
