Job Description
The Security Manager will oversee and manage all security operations across Mack Capitals’ business units to ensure a safe working environment. The role involves planning, implementing, and monitoring effective security strategies, supervising security personnel, responding to incidents, and ensuring adherence to security policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and review security strategies, policies, and procedures to protect company assets, property, employees, and customers.
- Lead, supervise, train, and appraise security staff to ensure effective performance and professionalism.
- Monitor daily security operations across company sites including fuel stations, banking operations, and offices.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, identify potential threats, and recommend preventive and corrective measures.
- Oversee access control systems, surveillance operations (CCTV), patrol schedules, and security control points.
- Respond to security breaches, emergencies, and incidents while coordinating investigations and preparing incident reports.
- Liaise and collaborate with law enforcement agencies, private security firms, and regulatory bodies when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with national security regulations, occupational health and safety standards, and company procedures.
- Prepare security-related budgets, resource plans, and operational reports for management.
- Promote a culture of safety, vigilance, and security awareness among staff.
