Job Description
The SAP HCM/SF Support Specialist will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing the organization’s SAP HCM and SuccessFactors systems in accordance with Group policies and procedures. The successful candidate will provide user support, resolve technical issues, configure and test new features, and contribute to HR technology project implementation. Duties also include training users, conducting data analysis to resolve discrepancies, updating organizational structures, enforcing access controls, and ensuring compliance with IT governance and cyber security standards.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Manage SAP HCM/SF systems in line with policies, procedures, and legislation
Analyze system data to identify and correct discrepancies
Accurately update organizational structures in SAP HCM
Optimize business processes using SAP HCM/SF capabilities
Handle configuration, system testing, integration, UAT, deployment, and post-go-live support
Analyze client requirements and assess feasibility within SAP SF standard functionality
Conduct walkthroughs/demos to explain configured functionalities
Investigate stakeholder needs and deliver quality service solutions
Maintain proper access controls and enforce segregation of duties
Train and assess business users on SAP HCM/SF usage
Apply HR employee standards within the performance management framework
Identify and eliminate repeat failures contributing to system inefficiencies
Maintain system documentation and comply with IT governance and cyber security protocols
Assist in writing technical and functional specifications
Coordinate and execute final User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Conduct system maintenance, updates, and track support requests
Stay up to date with SAP updates and best practices
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field
SAP Certification in HCM and/or SuccessFactors preferred
Minimum 3 years’ experience in SAP HCM and/or SuccessFactors
Experience in HR technology project implementation
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple support requests and work independently
Strong understanding of system security, user access controls, and compliance
