Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of IT services and projects by leading a multidisciplinary team and ensuring alignment with business priorities. The role encompasses financial and vendor management, agile delivery, performance monitoring, and capacity planning. The IT Delivery Manager will also contribute to strategic planning, manage operational budgets, and enhance the team’s agile maturity while keeping up with evolving technologies.

How to Apply
Provide line management to a team of business analysts, developers, and testers
Ensure delivery of IT services within SLA targets and in alignment with business initiatives
Manage project planning and delivery using agile methodologies (e.g., Kanban)
Oversee vendor, contract, and financial management activities
Drive improvements in agile maturity and delivery velocity
Ensure the delivery of defect-free, high-quality outputs with measurable business value
Align capacity planning with business expectations
Monitor platform costs and manage operational and CAPEX budgets (approx. R10 million)
Participate in architectural and strategic planning roadmaps
Contribute to budget preparation, project business cases, and financial justifications
Foster a collaborative and performance-driven team culture
Communicate effectively with C-level executives and key stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications:
Postgraduate degree in Information Technology or a business-related field
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Scrum Master/Practitioner (CSM/CSP), LEAN Agile, SAFe Certification
Master’s in Business Administration (MBA)
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years in a senior IT leadership role
Proven experience in vendor/supplier and financial management
Background in managing multi-disciplinary IT teams
Experience engaging senior-level stakeholders, including C-suite executives
Skills and Competencies:
Strong project and strategic planning abilities
High resilience and capability to function in high-pressure environments
Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality outputs
Collaborative mindset and ability to contribute to team and cross-functional success
