Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Salesperson at Prudential Uganda in Kampala. The Salesperson will be responsible for day-to-day sales activities, including prospecting and identifying potential customers, building relationships, promoting Prudential's insurance products, and closing sales. The Salesperson will also provide excellent customer service and maintain accurate sales records and documentation.

  • Customer Interaction: Engage with potential and existing customers to understand their needs and provide suitable product or service recommendations.

  • Sales Presentations: Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits.

  • Negotiation: Negotiate prices, terms, and agreements to close sales while ensuring customer satisfaction and company profitability.

  • Follow-Up: Follow up with customers after sales to ensure satisfaction and address any issues or concerns.


Product Knowledge:

  • Product Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of the products or services being sold, including features, benefits, and competitive advantages.

  • Market Awareness: Stay updated on market trends, competitor products, and industry developments to provide accurate information to customers.


Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Sales Targets: Set and achieve personal sales targets and contribute to team sales goals.

  • Sales Planning: Develop and execute sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.

  • Prospecting: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
