Job Description
EzyAgric is seeking a Sales Veterinary Officer to drive livestock business growth by providing veterinary advisory services and promoting animal health products. The role focuses on identifying and recruiting livestock farmers and expanding the company's network through technical support and sales.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Drive sales of veterinary drugs, vaccines, feeds, supplements, and livestock-related products.
- Identify, recruit, and onboard livestock farmers onto the EzyAgric platform.
- Develop and manage relationships with livestock farmer groups, cooperatives, SACCOs, and commercial farms.
- Conduct field demonstrations, product promotions, and farmer sensitization campaigns.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for livestock products and services.
- Provide technical animal health support and advisory services to farmers.
- Support disease surveillance, reporting, and farmer education on livestock disease prevention and management.
- Advise farmers on vaccination schedules, nutrition, breeding, biosecurity, and animal welfare.
- Organize and facilitate farmer training, field days, and livestock clinics.
- Promote adoption of digital tools and EzyAgric services among livestock farmers.
- Maintain accurate sales and farmer records using digital tools.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales and field activity reports.
