Job Description
City Farm Uganda is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead and grow our livestock and agribusiness sales portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies, expanding market reach, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth for our goat and cattle products.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Market Development
- Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies for livestock and related agribusiness products.
- Identify new markets, buyers, and distribution channels locally and internationally.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, traders, exporters, and institutional buyers.
- Negotiate contracts and close high-value sales deals.
Sales Operations & Performance
- Set sales targets and ensure consistent achievement of revenue goals.
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and competitor activities.
Field Engagement & Logistics Support
- Conduct regular field visits and client follow-ups.
- Support logistics and delivery coordination for livestock sales.
Reporting & Administration
- Prepare regular sales performance reports for management review.
- Maintain accurate customer and sales records.
