Job Description
Job Title: Sales Manager – Agency & Branches
Organisation: Future Options Consulting
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Acquire new business through the retail distribution network, effectively plan, develop, coordinate training and development programs for agents and continuously monitor production and persistency of the agency force to meet the company set benchmarks.
Responsible of the Agency force countrywide and not limited to the following,
Implement retail strategy & budgeting with an annual cycle.
Ensure that agents are well versed with product knowledge in order to increase sales, monitor quality of business, monitoring persistency and maintain the company’s corporate image and public confidence.
Provide logistical support, course development, delivery, evaluation, process measurements and cost management to agencies and branches.
Plan the implementation and facilitation of activities and events, budget spending, material production and distribution, and other resources to ensure that agents operations are managed within authorized budget.
Work hand in hand with Agency Administrators and ensure agents compliance with industry regulatory bodies and specific company requirements.
Develop leadership, team spirit, team loyalty, team building and problem solving capabilities/skills in the agency.
Monitor sales performance and drive productivity.
Foster a high-performance sales culture.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field (Master’s an added advantage).
Details of experience
At least 3 years’ experience in sales management, preferably in life assurance
Knowledge, skills and competences
Proven leadership in managing large agency teams and driving retail business growth
