The Motorcenter East Africa Ltd started as Go Nissan Ltd in 2005 as a dealership for Nissan vehicles and Suzuki motorcycles. The 3-S dealership with sales, service and showroom facilities had a mandate to promote and manage the Nissan brand in the Entebbe area. By mid 2006, the Entebbe market was saturated and as part of the growth strategy it was decided to expand our product and geographical mandate. We sourced for brands that would bring value for money to our market, and entered into distributor agreements with manufacturers in China and Thailand.

Job Description

The Sales Executive will execute the sales strategies in line with the company’s overall strategy. He/she will further ensure that there are activity plans in place to deliver sustained profitability for our brands.

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Selling all our brands that the MOTORCENTER EA deals in that is KIA, Kinglong, Sonalika, Peugeot and a Multibrand workshop plus any other brands that may come on board
  • Building and maintaining relationships with customers
  • Managing of assigned clientele database.
  • Visiting clients and ensuring market coverage.
  • Conduct a needs analysis and determine prospects pain points to determine how THE MOTORCENTER EA will speak to those needs.
  • Build and nurture prospect relationships by initiating and conducting follow-up communications together with the Leadership team in order to move opportunities through the sales funnel.
  • Updating data for new, prospective and existing clients within the CRM / Sales
  • Effectiveness tools, ensuring all communications are logged, information is accurate and any corresponding documents are attached.
  • Draw proposals and quotations for clients.
  • Conduct market research and intelligence.
  • Prepare daily reports and adhere to the sales effectiveness tools.
  • Any other tasks, duties or projects as may be assigned by management.
