Sales Account Manager job at Canary Hotel

Job Description

The Sales Account Manager at canary is responsible for managing and growing the sales of canary's products and services in a designated territory. The Sales Account Manager will identify and qualify new prospects, develop and execute strategic account plans, and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers. The Sales Account Manager will also collaborate with the marketing, product, and support teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. The ideal candidate for this role has excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, as well as a proven track record of achieving sales targets in a competitive environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • As a Sales Account Manager at canary, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with existing and potential customers,

  • Identifying their needs and preferences, and providing them with the best solutions for their business goals.

  • You will also be in charge of negotiating contracts, closing deals, and ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.

  • You will work closely with the marketing, product, and engineering teams to provide feedback and insights from the market, and to communicate the value proposition of canary's products and services.

  • You will also be expected to meet and exceed your sales targets, and to report on your performance and progress regularly.

Qualifications and Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Hotel Sales Manager or in a similar sales leadership role.

  • Strong understanding of sales strategies, techniques, and customer relationship management.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales software.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, & holidays as required.
