Job Summary:
Responsible for overseeing and coordinating all road traffic and equipment operations on the project, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant movement of machinery, vehicles, and operators. The role enhances site productivity by optimizing logistics, minimizing risks, and preventing delays related to equipment and traffic operations.

How to Apply
Develop and implement traffic control plans in coordination with site engineers and safety officers.
Create and enforce company-wide safety guidelines related to equipment use, adhering to local, state, and federal regulation
To oversee daily equipment operations to ensure smooth and efficient support for project activities.
Cost Control through monitoring and managing operational costs related to equipment usage, maintenance.
Ensure full compliance with quality standards, environmental regulations, and safety requirements.
Coordinate the reception, allocation, and technical support of equipment on site.
Supervise fuel usage and inventory, ensuring accountability and cost-effectiveness.
Promote efficient use of equipment to maximize productivity and reduce idle time.
Implement preventive maintenance and rapid response strategies to minimize equipment breakdowns.
Enhance safety conditions around equipment operations through inspections, and enforcement of safety protocols.
Make strategic decisions regarding the purchase, disposal, and replacement of equipment in line with operational needs.
Ensure all equipment-related decisions and expenditures align with in the project cost plan.
Regularly inspect work areas and equipment to identify potential hazards, assess compliance, and ensure all safety features are functional.
Monitor and direct site traffic to prevent congestion and ensure smooth flow.
Liaise with local authorities for external traffic coordination when necessary..
Respond to incidents and near-misses, and participate in investigations.
Coordinate the movement and allocation of heavy equipment and machinery across the site.
Investigate accidents or injuries involving equipment, identify the root causes, and recommend preventive measures to avoid future incidents
Ensure equipment is operated safely and in accordance with site protocols.
Support maintenance scheduling and reporting of equipment faults.
Act as a liaison between site management, equipment operators, and logistics teams.
Provide daily briefings to drivers and operators on traffic routes and operational updates.
Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Transport Management, Logistics, or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in equipment supervision or traffic operations on large-scale construction projects.
Strong knowledge of road safety regulations, heavy equipment operations, and construction site logistics.
Proficiency in logistics software and traffic management tools.
Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and compliance standards.
Strong analytical skills for interpreting performance and operational data.
