Carrefour Uganda is seeking a dedicated Risk and Compliance Officer to support and strengthen our operational integrity and regulatory adherence. This position is based in Kampala and plays a critical role in safeguarding store operations, ensuring compliance, and promoting a safe and secure working environment.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Manage and mitigate operational risks, safety concerns, and compliance issues.
Conduct incident investigations and compile comprehensive reports.
Implement and monitor loss prevention protocols.
Enforce health, safety, and hygiene regulations across operations.
Oversee cleaning and maintenance activities within the store.
Deliver staff training on compliance, professional conduct, and emergency procedures.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Risk Management, Security, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in retail or FMCG environments.
Proficient in incident documentation, regulatory compliance, and reporting.
Solid understanding of risk and compliance frameworks and standards.
Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
High level of integrity, strong attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
