Position Overview
The Resort Manager will be responsible for the strategic and day-to-day management of the resort, with a strong focus on operational excellence, financial performance, guest satisfaction, and team development. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a strong background in hospitality management and a proven track record in growing and sustaining successful resort operations.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Develop and implement a comprehensive business plan covering strategy, marketing, sales, and budgeting.
Align resort objectives with group-wide goals in collaboration with the Country General Manager.
Drive operational efficiency and profitability across all departments.
People Management
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of resort staff.
Implement performance management systems and succession planning strategies.
Foster a motivated and high-performing team culture aligned with company values.
Guest Experience
Uphold exceptional service standards and ensure consistent guest satisfaction.
Set and monitor customer retention and acquisition targets.
Promote a guest-first mindset through regular staff engagement and training.
Financial Oversight
Manage the resort’s financial performance and control operational costs.
Ensure optimal use of resources without compromising service quality.
Regularly review budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
Sales & Marketing
Lead annual sales, marketing, and revenue generation plans.
Supervise all resort-level marketing campaigns and partnerships.
Identify new business opportunities and maximize occupancy and revenue.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Required Qualifications & Experience:
8–10 years of experience in the hospitality, tourism, or leisure industry.
At least 8 years in a senior management role (e.g., Head of Department, Assistant General Manager, or equivalent) within a resort or hotel setting.
Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
Strong financial acumen and marketing skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
