Job Title:  Research Assistant (Clinical Officer)

Duty Station: Kalisizo, Uganda


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to support field data collection, participant engagement, and study implementation.

The role involves conducting interviews, recording and validating survey responses, collecting biological specimens, and providing health education to study participants. The ideal candidate must have strong communication skills, ethical awareness, and excellent organizational abilities to ensure accurate data collection and compliance with research protocols.

This position requires working closely with supervisors, maintaining program equipment, and ensuring confidentiality in handling participant information. If you have a passion for public health research and community engagement, you are encouraged to apply.

  • Diploma In Clinical Medicine

  • Working experience of at least 1 year in a reputable health organization

  • Experience in human subject’s research is an added advantage

  • Experience in Good clinical Practice (added advantage)

  • Willingness to reside in Rakai / Kyotera districts.


Nice to have

  • Good Communication skills

  • Ability to use a computer

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Fluent in Luganda

  • Ability to work under minimum supervision
