Job Description
The Relationship Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their financial needs, and providing tailored banking solutions that drive customer satisfaction and business growth. This role requires a proactive, client-focused professional who can manage a portfolio of clients, identify new business opportunities, and contribute to the bank’s strategic objectives.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
- Build, manage, and strengthen long-term relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Understand clients’ financial needs and provide tailored banking solutions.
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
- Conduct regular client reviews to assess satisfaction and identify new opportunities.
Business Development & Sales
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to grow the bank’s client base.
- Develop and present proposals for banking products and services that align with clients’ needs.
- Achieve individual and team sales targets for products and services.
- Support marketing initiatives to promote the bank’s offerings and enhance visibility.
Team Leadership & Coaching
- Mentor and coach junior staff to build skills and drive performance.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance within the team.
- Empower staff to take ownership of tasks and make informed decisions.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to the bank’s policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor client accounts for compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Report any potential risks or issues to management promptly.
Performance & Reporting
- Track and report on client acquisition, retention, and portfolio performance.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management to improve client satisfaction and business results.
- Continuously review and improve processes to enhance operational efficiency.
