How to Apply

  • Support regional branches in implementing risk management frameworks and operational policies.

  • Monitor compliance with approved work plans, bank procedures, and regulatory guidelines.

  • Oversee internal controls and provide regular reporting on their effectiveness.

  • Provide guidance and corrective action support to branches to ensure clean audits, compliance, portfolio quality, and minimal non-performing assets.

  • Follow up on audit findings from both internal and Bank of Uganda audits, ensuring timely resolution.

  • Reconcile and monitor suspense accounts in line with operational procedures.

  • Identify operational risks in branch activities and ensure adherence to service standards and controls.

  • Resolve operational issues and support performance improvements in line with business targets.

  • Assess and monitor staff productivity in line with established performance ratios and policies.

  • Track execution of branch-level business growth strategies (lending, deposits, and customer service).

  • Conduct branch assessments, including file reviews and compliance checks, and escalate issues as needed.

  • Monitor the implementation of customer service standards across assigned branches.

  • Coordinate the budgeting process to align with regional and corporate strategies.

  • Track branch budget performance and ensure delivery against set targets.

  • Evaluate manpower and skill gaps at branches and recommend staffing improvements.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.

Experience:
