How to Apply
Support regional branches in implementing risk management frameworks and operational policies.
Monitor compliance with approved work plans, bank procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
Oversee internal controls and provide regular reporting on their effectiveness.
Provide guidance and corrective action support to branches to ensure clean audits, compliance, portfolio quality, and minimal non-performing assets.
Follow up on audit findings from both internal and Bank of Uganda audits, ensuring timely resolution.
Reconcile and monitor suspense accounts in line with operational procedures.
Identify operational risks in branch activities and ensure adherence to service standards and controls.
Resolve operational issues and support performance improvements in line with business targets.
Assess and monitor staff productivity in line with established performance ratios and policies.
Track execution of branch-level business growth strategies (lending, deposits, and customer service).
Conduct branch assessments, including file reviews and compliance checks, and escalate issues as needed.
Monitor the implementation of customer service standards across assigned branches.
Coordinate the budgeting process to align with regional and corporate strategies.
Track branch budget performance and ensure delivery against set targets.
Evaluate manpower and skill gaps at branches and recommend staffing improvements.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.
Experience:
Minimum of 4 years’ banking experience at a Branch Operations Manager level.
