CoRSU was established in 2009 as a private, non-profit, non-governmental organization in Uganda. CoRSU’s core mandate is to mitigate the debilitating effects of disabling physical conditions, by ensuring accessibility and availability of quality, preventative, curative, rehabilitative services for people with disability in Uganda and neighboring countries.
CoRSU provides subsidized treatments (surgery and rehabilitation) for vulnerable patients and this is carried out through social assessment tools.

Comprehensive Rehabilitation Services for people with disability in Uganda (CoRSU)
The position holder will be responsible for CoRSU hospital accounts, receivables accounts reconciliations and overall management of Receivables. The role will involve working closely with the Head of Finance, Senior Accountant, Financial Accountant, Credit Officer, and billing officers at CoRSU hospital. He or she will ensure due diligence in the provision of high-quality Receivables management function and reporting for effective and efficient management of the hospital’s resources.
Timely invoicing and claiming of receivables.
Maintain reconciled, accurate and up to date Receivables ledger.
Good customer care in handling clients (partners and insurance clients)
Support and supervision of the credit officer(s) to ensure they deliver.
Provision of Monthly summary reports of income; reconciled to cash receipts, receivables, and donor contributions.
Reduction in receivables outstanding to within acceptable agreed rate per policy.
Ensure up to date MOUs are in place for all the clients – partners, insurance, and donors.
Design receivables management policy in line with the finance manual.
Ensure the donor contributions are reported by the projects’ accountants accurately and in a timely manner to donors.

Bachelor’s degree in business administration/commerce (Accounting option)
ACCA/CPA qualification
Experience
Minimum of 3 years of related experience in Revenue management in a busy setting.
Member of the professional accounting body CPAU or ACCA
Knowledge and Skills:
Knowledge of Accounting Standards especially relevant to Revenue and income recognition.
Thorough knowledge of MS Excel and other financial related databases
Excellent writing, communication, presentation, and social skills
Training and experience in debtors/ receivables management
Experience in working in the NGO/Not-for-Profit sector.
Good understanding of disability.
Communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with a good understanding of cultural diversity.
MS packages, (e.g., MSWord, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet) and enterprise level ERP
