Job Description
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Support implementation and monitoring of R&D trials according to approved protocols and ensure treatments are applied correctly
- Monitor trials and report deviations, equipment failures, or operational issues
- Collect, record, and verify trial data accurately and on time
- Assist with fish sampling, weighing, grading, and performance assessments
- Maintain organized trial records and support preparation of trial reports
- Monitor fish health, behavior, mortality, and welfare during trials and report unusual observations promptly
- Support routine water quality monitoring and environmental data collection
- Support operation, inspection, and maintenance of trial equipment including automatic feeders and monitoring devices
- Follow all biosecurity procedures and maintain cleanliness of work areas, equipment, boats, and cages
- Comply with health and safety procedures and use required PPE
