Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of quality during drone production. They will conduct routine inspections, enforce quality control standards, lead quality training for production teams, and support internal and external audits. The role involves collaborating with engineers and production teams to identify quality improvements and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards. Candidates must be detail-oriented, experienced with quality systems like ISO 9001, and ideally have experience in the aerospace or UAV industry.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor quality control procedures and standards
Conduct inspections and tests on raw materials, components, and final products
Recommend and implement process improvements for enhanced product quality
Train production staff on inspection techniques and quality standards
Support internal and external audits to confirm compliance
Maintain records and documentation of inspections and corrective actions
Work with engineering teams to incorporate feedback into product designs
Resolve quality issues promptly in collaboration with other departments
Ensure all operations comply with relevant quality policies and regulations

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Assurance, Aeronautics, or related field
Prior experience in quality control, preferably in aerospace or drone manufacturing
Strong knowledge of quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001)
Proficient in the use of quality inspection tools and reporting software
Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge of UAV technology is an added advantage
Certification in quality management is a plus
