Job Description
Kampala Pharmaceutical Industries is seeking highly motivated Quality Control Graduate Trainees to join its Quality Control Department. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates to gain hands-on experience in pharmaceutical quality control, laboratory operations, and regulatory compliance within a GMP-compliant manufacturing environment.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Support routine quality control testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Assist in conducting chemical, physical, and microbiological analysis in accordance with approved SOPs.
- Prepare and document test results accurately in laboratory notebooks and electronic systems.
- Participate in calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Support investigations into out-of-specification (OOS) and non-conformance results.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality standards.
- Assist with validation, stability studies, and method verification activities.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization within the QC laboratory.
- Support audits and inspections by preparing relevant documentation.
