Job Summary:
The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering HVAC projects on time, within scope, and within budget. The role involves full project lifecycle management — from material requisition and site supervision to client communication, quality assurance, and project reporting.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Project Execution & Supervision
Manage all on-site aspects of the project from inception to completion.
Prepare material requisition lists and ensure timely procurement of required items.
Coordinate with relevant departments to assign competent technicians.
Supervise site activities to ensure adherence to the project schedule, safety standards, and quality requirements.
Team Management
Lead, motivate, and manage technicians, ensuring high performance and discipline.
Approve allowances, overtime, and attendance for technicians under your supervision.
Quality Assurance & Troubleshooting
Monitor and maintain quality standards across all phases of the project.
Identify and resolve technical challenges during installation and commissioning.
Lead troubleshooting and commissioning activities to ensure systems operate optimally.
Project Administration & Coordination
Prepare technical specifications for consultant approvals and develop working drawings.
Create and update project work programs and progress schedules.
Communicate effectively with consultants, contractors, and clients regarding project updates, dependencies, and challenges.
Attend site meetings, prepare minutes, and manage project documentation.
Prepare and follow up on payment applications to ensure timely client invoicing and cash flow.
Reporting & Communication
Provide regular written updates on project progress, delays, and resource requirements.
Maintain transparent communication with management, clients, and all stakeholders.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Degree or Diploma in HVAC Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
Minimum 5 years of experience in HVAC project management or a similar role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint (mandatory).
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to handle multiple projects and deliver results under pressure.
