Job Description
Job Title: Project Coordinator
Organization: Centenary Bank
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Reports to: Head Project Management Office
Provide direction, coordination, implementation, executive, control, and completion of project, while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments, and goals of the bank
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Work with Project Teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables
Create, maintain, and update project plans, ensure deliverables are tracked against time and cost, and resource utilization is monitored
Maintain Centenary Bank’s Project Management guidelines, Policies and Procedures
Support projects implementation through observing controls and governance
Monitor all Bank Projects and assist the Project Staff in reporting to Project manager on the status of the Projects highlighting problems and solutions
Responsible for the implementation of quality assurance throughout the life cycle of projects
Review and present project initiation documents (e.g. business case, cost benefit analysis, project charter) in line with project management guidelines
Coordinate with the Project Manager(s) and other stakeholders on the post-implementation review of accomplished projects
Offer overall coordination of activities in the Project Office
Compile project closure reports for all projects that have been concluded and rolled out
To support the Head of Project Management Office in coordinating project management trainings
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor of Computer science, Commerce or Business Administration or any related discipline
Project Management Certification will be added Advantage
Required Experience and Competences:
1 year in Project Management environment executing Project related roles
Monitoring and Evaluation experience is added advantage
