Job Summary
Mildmay Uganda is seeking a qualified Procurement Officer to oversee the organization's procurement and disposal processes. The role involves providing technical support and guidance to departments and Procurement Committees to ensure efficient, transparent, and compliant procurement in line with institutional and donor standards.

How to Apply
Manage the procurement and disposal functions of Mildmay Uganda.
Provide technical guidance on procurement procedures and compliance to department heads and relevant committees.
Support procurement planning, budgeting, and contract management activities.
Ensure timely acquisition of goods, services, and works in accordance with approved procurement plans.
Maintain accurate procurement documentation and vendor records.
Support audits and reporting related to procurement and supply chain activities.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Logistics Management, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
Postgraduate Diploma in Procurement & Supply Management is required.
CIPS membership is an added advantage.
Experience & Skills:
Minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience in procurement and supply chain management in a medium to large organization, ideally a donor-funded or private not-for-profit hospital.
Strong knowledge of procurement planning, budgeting, and contract oversight.
Proficiency in accounting or ERP software—preferably Navision or QuickBooks.
High integrity, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
