Job Description
Job Title: Procurement Associate
Organisation: Infinity Computers & Communications Company Ltd (I3C)
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Job Summary:
Infinity Computers and Communications Company (i3C) is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Associate with strong numeracy skills and an accounting background to support our procurement and supply chain functions. The successful candidate will play a key role in supplier negotiations, cost management, and ensuring timely acquisition of goods and services for company operations and projects.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Assist in planning, sourcing, and procuring goods and services in line with company requirements.
Support supplier negotiations to secure competitive prices, quality, and delivery terms.
Prepare and maintain purchase orders, contracts, and procurement records.
Work closely with finance to ensure proper alignment with budgets and compliance with accounting standards.
Monitor supplier performance and maintain updated vendor databases.
Track deliveries, stock levels, and usage to minimize shortages or delays.
Provide procurement reports and analysis to management for decision-making.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience in procurement, accounting, or supply chain operations is an added advantage.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Knowledge of accounting principles and financial systems.
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with ERP systems is desirable.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
