Job Description
The plant operator at Ibanda District Service Commission is responsible for operating and maintaining various machines and equipment used in the district's public works.
Duties and Responsibilities
The plant operator at Ibanda District Service Commission is responsible for operating and maintaining various machines and equipment used in the district's public works. Some of the duties include:
Operating heavy machinery such as bulldozers, graders, loaders, excavators, trucks, etc.
Performing routine checks and maintenance on the machines and equipment
Reporting any faults or malfunctions to the supervisor or mechanic
Following safety rules and regulations at all times
Assisting in other tasks as assigned by the supervisor
