As a Plant Manager for our manufacturing facility, your main job is to oversee operations. You’ll be in charge of making sure we produce high-quality Manufacturing efficiently, managing the plant staff, and coming up with plans to make things run better and make more money. To do this job well, you’ll need strong leadership skills, good planning abilities, and a deep understanding of how we make Manufacturing.

How to Apply

  • Supervise the daily operations of the box manufacturing plant to ensure a seamless production process and meet production goals.

  • Create and execute strategies to make the plant work better, reduce expenses, and increase overall efficiency.

  • Manage and lead the plant team, which includes hiring, training, and providing ongoing guidance and feedback.

  • Keep an eye on production data, find areas that need improvement, and take action to make things work better.

  • Make sure everyone follows safety rules and encourages a safety-conscious atmosphere in the plant.

  • Work closely with the procurement team to guarantee we have enough raw materials and maintain inventory levels.

  • Build and sustain relationships with important suppliers, vendors, and customers to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

  • Put in place quality control measures to make sure all Manufacturing meet required standards and customer specifications.

  • Keep an eye on and manage production costs, including labor, materials, and equipment maintenance, to hit cost targets and maximize profits.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in box manufacturing, and suggest and put into practice improvements as needed.

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team towards achieving targets and objectives.

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive and hands-on approach to addressing challenges.

  • In-depth knowledge of box manufacturing processes, equipment, and techniques.

  • Strong understanding of quality control principles and experience in implementing quality management systems.

  • Proficient in analyzing production data and using key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive improvements.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Proficient in using manufacturing software and systems to monitor and control production processes.

  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the manufacturing industry.

Plant Manager Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.

  • Demonstrated track record of successfully managing and improving production processes and achieving targets.

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Familiarity with quality management systems, such as ISO standards.

  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and practices.

  • Proficiency in using computer software, such as Microsoft Office Suite and manufacturing software.
