Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Cost Controller to join our team at Nytil Plant in Jinja. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing plant costs using SAP S/4HANA, with a strong focus on process costing and production efficiency.
The Plant Cost Controller will be responsible for overseeing cost management processes within the plant, with a strong emphasis on process costing, variance analysis, and production efficiency. The role involves working closely with finance and production teams to ensure accurate costing and effective cost control.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor plant costs to ensure efficiency and cost optimization
- Utilize SAP S/4HANA (CO & Product Costing modules) for cost tracking and reporting
- Perform process costing and analyze production cost structures
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights for cost improvement
- Monitor material usage and control inventory-related costs
- Collaborate with production teams to improve operational efficiency
- Prepare cost reports and support management decision-making
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and procedures
