Research and Analysis: Conducting research and gathering data on various aspects of the built and natural environment, such as population trends, land use patterns, transportation systems, infrastructure, and environmental resources.
Land Use Planning: Developing land use plans and zoning regulations to guide the location and intensity of development, including residential, commercial, industrial, and recreational areas.
