Job Summary
This position plays a critical role in working capital management and in the order-to-pay process.
The person will interact continuously with user departments and external suppliers.
The key challenges will be:
Prompt processing
Query resolution
Timely follow-ups
Managing supplier relations
This calls for excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

How to Apply
Enforcing the company’s payments policy: processing supplier invoices, credit memos, and generating payments
Reconciling vendor statements, resolving discrepancies, vendor inquiries, and disputes
Compiling weekly and monthly payment forecasts
Supporting the Payables Controller in ensuring adequate and correctly applied payment process controls
Supporting the Payables Controller in administering tax payments and URA refunds, including:
Replenishing the URA Gross Payment Account
Administering VAT, Excise, and Withholding Tax
Ensuring tax compliance
Processing staff expense claims and accountability reports
Technical Competencies
Business-related degree and intermediate-level qualification in CPA or ACCA
Proficiency in spreadsheets and ERP applications (SAP, Oracle Financials)
Knowledge of indirect, direct, and international taxes
Two years of accounts payables and general accounting experience in a reputable organization
