Job Description
The Operator safely operates and maintains brewing processes at Nile Breweries to achieve optimal effectiveness in line with VPO standards, supporting the Brewing Process Operator in quality control checks.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Operate manual equipment in Brewing process areas according to work instructions
- Review process performance against target and record short stops
- Record waste and movement of product on appropriate documentation
- Carry out required quality checks as described in quality control work practice
- Respond rapidly to upstream or downstream triggers that could result in quality or production problems
- Perform housekeeping tasks applying 4S principles and following safe work practices
- Carry out in-depth cleaning, lubrication and inspection of equipment
- Perform simple autonomous operations tasks (e.g. replacement of simple valves)
