Job Description
The Office Assistant will be responsible for providing essential clerical and administrative support to the team. This includes handling communications, organizing files, managing office supplies, supporting staff and clients, maintaining office cleanliness, and assisting with day-to-day errands. The role requires a proactive individual who can multitask, communicate effectively, and maintain confidentiality in a professional office environment.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Perform general office duties including filing, photocopying, and data entry
Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence
Maintain cleanliness and order in the office environment
Monitor and reorder office supplies as needed
Assist with organizing meetings and scheduling appointments
Support staff and visitors with basic office services
Deliver and collect documents as required
Maintain records and assist with reports
Perform any other duties assigned by management
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
A minimum of a Certificate or Diploma in Office Management, Secretarial Studies, Business Administration, or related field
Prior experience in a similar role is an advantage
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
Dependable, proactive, and detail-oriented
