Job Description
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement UNDP Uganda's occupational health and safety management systems and policies
- Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identification across UNDP premises and project sites
- Coordinate OHS training and awareness programs for staff and stakeholders
- Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with Uganda's occupational health and safety laws and UNDP corporate OHS standards
- Develop emergency preparedness and response plans
- Prepare and submit regular OHS reports to management
