Job Description
The NMA Internship Program for Pharmacists is part of Chevron's commitment to youth empowerment and educational development through the Student Industrial Work Experience Scheme (SIWES). This program targets recent graduates in Pharmacy and offers hands-on learning within the organization’s healthcare and pharmaceutical environment. Interns will work closely with supervisors who will provide mentorship, assign daily responsibilities, and oversee the intern’s professional growth.
Interns will engage in activities related to pharmaceutical services, drug management, compliance with medical regulations, and exposure to corporate health operations. This opportunity aims to provide real-world insights into the pharmaceutical profession within a structured, multinational work setting.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Participate in pharmaceutical operations under supervision.
Assist with inventory and medication management.
Support the implementation of pharmaceutical best practices and compliance.
Contribute to documentation, reporting, and medical audits.
Learn and apply safety and health protocols within the workplace.
Complete daily assigned tasks relevant to the discipline and research interest.
Engage in learning opportunities and team development activities.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Fresh graduate with a degree in Pharmacy from an accredited institution (local or international).
Must hold a Provisional License from the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A recommendation letter from the academic institution is required.
Must be committed to a 12-month full-time internship.
Willingness to learn and contribute in a professional corporate environment.
