Job Description
The NMA Internship program is designed to provide recent graduates in Medical Laboratory Science with an opportunity to develop technical knowledge, professional skills, and workplace competencies through real-time assignments and collaboration with experienced professionals. Interns will report to a designated supervisor, receive day-to-day guidance, and contribute meaningfully to Chevron’s healthcare and laboratory operations. The program promotes corporate learning, performance-based growth, and insights into the healthcare aspects of the energy industry.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Assist with medical laboratory tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Participate in hands-on training sessions to develop technical knowledge and skills.
Contribute to ongoing projects and research within the medical laboratory field.
Collaborate with team members and professionals to achieve project objectives.
Ensure adherence to industry and company standards for health and safety.
Submit regular reports and updates to supervisors on assigned tasks and learning progress.

Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) degree from a recognized institution (local or foreign).
Provisional License issued by the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria (MLSCN).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated commitment to learning and personal development.
Recommendation letter from the graduate’s institution.
Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to a professional environment.
