Design and Development:
Design mechanical components, systems, and devices such as engines, tools, machines, and thermal devices.
Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to create detailed plans, models, and simulations of mechanical systems.
Develop new products or improve existing ones, ensuring functionality, performance, and cost-efficiency.
Analysis and Testing:
Conduct simulations and tests to analyze the performance of mechanical systems under different conditions (stress, temperature, etc.).
Use analysis tools like finite element analysis (FEA) to evaluate structural integrity, strength, and durability.
Identify and troubleshoot issues or inefficiencies within mechanical designs and systems.
Prototyping and Fabrication:
Oversee or participate in the fabrication of prototypes and working models.
Collaborate with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure that parts are produced to specifications.
Test prototypes to ensure they meet performance and safety standards.
Project Management:
Manage mechanical engineering projects from concept to completion, including timelines, budgets, and resources.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (electrical engineers, production teams, procurement, etc.) to ensure smooth project execution.
Ensure that projects comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering
At least 15 years working experience in maintenance and management of drilling machine and turbine equipment
