Job Description
Job Title: Manager – MoMo Pay
Organisation: MTN Mobile Money
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Job Summary:
Deliver the overall management of the digital Retail payments ecosystem for the Merchant segment.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Manage the MoMo payments roadmap for merchant segment (Local FINCO).
Manage relationships with internal partners and third parties to scale the informal and formal merchants’ growth opportunity.
Manage the end-to-end design of the merchants’ value propositions to ensure alignment to target customer expectations.
Work with internal and external stakeholders to deliver effective campaigns and promotions to drive business growth objectives.
Deliver effective key processes (e.g. onboarding, liquidation etc.) to scale merchant base per set targets and SLA agreements.
Liaise with Customer interfacing teams to resolve merchant complaints and put in place a framework for continuous improvement of the merchant proposition.
Work with internal stakeholders to monitor the performance of existing products, cost effectiveness to drive healthy contributory margins & pricing to ensure product/service uptake and profitability.
Utilise data driven approach to deliver product , sector and insights and short to medium term plans.
KPA Quality Standards/Measures
Manage and implement the merchants’ product roadmap
Design of effective key process merchant ecosystem to deliver quality and efficiency within standards and SLAs.
Monitor performance of merchants; value, Volume and Revenues.
Work with external and internal partners to deliver brand building and awareness programs to support merchants.
Follow up on closure of identified service gaps.
Develop product growth strategies aimed at increasing revenues.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university.
Proficient with MS Office applications especially Excel and Power Point.
Experience:
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Sales, Marketing, Customer experience or related business functions.
Prior experience in the Payments system organization will be an added advantage.
