Job Description

Duties, Roles and Responsibilities

  • Grow diaspora customer base and drive usage of banking products.

  • Maintain and deepen client relationships to increase retention and wallet share.

  • Execute strategic marketing and recruitment campaigns in key international markets.

  • Develop and nurture strategic partnerships within the diaspora ecosystem.

  • Conduct market research and track competitor activity to guide product innovation.

  • Ensure delivery of exceptional service to diaspora clients.

  • Organize internal training to improve staff knowledge and sales of diaspora products.

  • Build and manage a quality asset portfolio within acceptable risk thresholds.

  • Generate management reports for performance tracking.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and risk management frameworks (SOPs, AML, CFT, KYC, etc.).

  • Perform daily operations including account openings, onboarding to digital channels, processing of loan and mortgage applications, addressing customer queries, and initiating outreach activities (calls, mailings, marketing).

Qualifications, Education and Competencies

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field (Master’s Degree is an added advantage).

  • Professional Qualifications: Certifications in Financial and Banking fields (e.g., CPA, CFA, ACIB).

  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years in Credit Analysis and Customer Relationship Management.

  • Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

    • Excellent customer service and marketing ability

    • Strategic thinking and problem-solving

    • Proven experience in diaspora banking or international market engagement

    • Understanding of banking compliance and risk standards
