Job Description
This position plays a key role in promoting the bank’s digital agenda at the branch level. The officer will work with branch staff to onboard and activate customers and merchants on digital platforms. Responsibilities include conducting training, resolving technical issues, ensuring compliance with digital policies, and increasing engagement and usage of services. The role also involves reporting on adoption and activity metrics and collaborating with marketing teams to promote digital banking campaigns.

How to Apply
Collaborate with branch staff to onboard customers onto Mobile and Internet Banking platforms
Recruit and activate agents and merchants within the branch catchment area
Train customers, agents, and merchants on using digital platforms
Monitor usage and activity levels; implement re-engagement strategies for inactive users
Resolve digital banking issues including failed transactions, login problems, and system errors
Escalate unresolved issues to relevant technical teams and follow up for resolution
Ensure all transactions follow compliance and security standards
Educate users on fraud prevention and risk awareness
Support marketing and promotional activities for digital banking services
Maintain performance records and submit weekly/monthly reports
Ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction through daily user support
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in general banking, sales, digital channel sales, or customer service
Certifications: Digital banking certifications are an added advantage
Competencies:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Proficiency in digital platforms and mobile apps
Ability to train and guide customers and agents
Analytical mindset with good reporting skills
Problem-solving ability and customer-oriented attitude
Team player with a proactive approach
