Job Description
Backbone Feeds is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Logistics Manager to oversee and optimize the company’s supply chain operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating transportation, distribution, and inventory processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
- Plan and manage logistics, transportation, and distribution activities
- Coordinate the movement of raw materials and finished products
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure efficient stock control
- Develop strategies to optimize logistics costs and improve efficiency
- Manage relationships with transporters, suppliers, and service providers
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety requirements
- Supervise and guide logistics staff
- Prepare reports on logistics performance and operations
