Job Description
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
The job holder will be responsible for safely transporting the team in the organization’s manual vehicles across the country while portraying the organization’s corporate image. The position involves occasional driving with or without staff in the vehicle and reports directly to the Administrative Assistant.

Transportation:
Safely transporting clients, employees, or goods to and from various locations as required.
Planning and following the most efficient routes for timely deliveries or pickups.
Operating vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
Vehicle Maintenance:
Conducting regular inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
Checking and maintaining fluid levels, tire pressure, and other essential vehicle components.
Reporting any mechanical issues or damage to the appropriate personnel and arranging for repairs as needed.
Documentation:
Maintaining accurate records of trips, including mileage, destinations, and any issues encountered.
Completing any required paperwork, such as delivery notes or timesheets, promptly and accurately.
Ensuring that all necessary documentation, such as driving licenses and vehicle registration, is up to date and carried at all times.
Customer Service:
Providing courteous and professional service to passengers or clients.
Assisting passengers with entering and exiting the vehicle if needed, and handling their belongings carefully.
Communicating effectively with clients and employers to confirm schedules and any special requirements.
Health and Safety:
Adhering to all health and safety guidelines, including the use of seat belts and proper lifting techniques.
Ensuring that the vehicle is clean and sanitized, especially if transporting passengers.
Being aware of and following protocols for transporting hazardous materials if applicable.
Time Management:
Managing time effectively to meet schedules and deadlines.
Being punctual and reliable, ensuring that all assignments are completed on time.
Adjusting schedules or routes in response to traffic conditions or other unforeseen events.
Communication:
Keeping in regular contact with the dispatch team or supervisor to update them on progress and any issues.
Using communication tools such as mobile phones or radios responsibly and in compliance with regulations.

A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and a minimum of an O-level Certificate and any other higher qualification is a must.
Proven experience in safe driving practices and vehicle maintenance.
Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Excellent communication skills for effectively reporting issues and collaborating with team members.
Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and travel requirements.
