Job Description
The Literature Teacher will develop and deliver lesson plans based on the school's curriculum, assess student progress, and support learners through mentorship and guidance. The teacher will also be involved in planning and organizing co-curricular and administrative activities, adhering to the school's Christian values. Responsibilities include preparing schemes of work, managing classroom discipline, participating in school events, mentoring other teachers, and engaging in continuous professional development.

How to Apply
Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans, and instructional materials
Deliver engaging Literature-in-English lessons aligned with the curriculum
Design and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
Manage student behavior and provide guidance and counselling
Serve as a mentor and role model, upholding Christian values
Maintain records of student performance and attendance
Participate in extracurricular activities and school events
Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress
Contribute to school committees and improvement initiatives
Supervise and coach junior staff and teaching assistants
Continuously update subject knowledge and teaching methods
Bachelor of Education degree in Literature in English
At least 1 year of relevant teaching experience
Must have scored Distinction in the subject at O-Level and/or Grade A or B at UACE
Must be a practicing Christian
Willing to work and live in South Sudan
No criminal record or history of child abuse or neglect
Strong communication, mentoring, and teamwork skills
Computer literacy and report writing ability
Commitment to child protection and professional integrity
