Legal Advisory:
Provide legal advice and guidance to the organization's management and staff on a wide range of legal issues (contracts, employment, intellectual property, etc.).
Ensure that the organization’s operations comply with legal requirements.
Research and interpret laws, regulations, and rulings to ensure the organization remains compliant with legal obligations.
Contract Management:
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
Ensure contracts meet legal requirements and protect the organization’s interests.
Maintain and manage a database of contracts and legal documentation.
A Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) is typically required.
Admission to the bar or a legal practicing certificate is often essential.
A Master’s degree in Law (LLM) or specialized certifications may be advantageous, depending on the industry.
Experience:
3–5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a corporate or legal advisory role.
Experience in contract management, dispute resolution, corporate governance, or compliance is preferred.
Prior experience with regulatory bodies or law firms can be advantageous.
