About the Organisation
The Uganda Retirement Benefits Regulatory Authority (URBRA) is a government-owned, semi-autonomous agency established by virtue of section 2 of the Uganda Retirement Benefits Regulatory Authority Act 2011, Act No. 15 of 2011. It is responsible for regulating, licensing, supervising, and controlling the retirement sector in Uganda in both the private and public sectors. The Authority is responsible for supervising Institutions which provide retirement benefits products and services.

Job Description
Conduct analysis of financial reports from licensed entities and ensure compliance with reporting and accounting standards.
Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents and retrieving information and documents for legal staff,
Examine legal documents and correspondence, procedural instructions and assist the Directorate in the preparation of responses.
Provide administrative support required in the Directorate like drafting the correspondence, pleadings, briefs, opinions, legal memoranda, and any other related legal documentation
File and serve court documents, pleadings and managing correspondences made with the office of the Solicitor General, external lawyers, judicial officers and courts of judicature.
Compile, verify and deliver all documentation related to the any case involving the Authority are properly prepared and filed;
Receive and review complaints submitted to the Authority regarding sector players
Followup sector players to provide reponsses to complaints submitted.
Qualifications and Competencies
PERSON SPECIFICATIONS:
Minimum qualifications
An Honors Bachelor’s degree of Laws from a recognized institution
Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice.
