Job Purpose:
To design, deliver, and manage undergraduate academic programs in Pathology, while overseeing curriculum development, teaching quality, research activities, and administrative functions in accordance with professional and institutional standards.

How to Apply
Deliver high-quality and engaging lectures in Pathology to undergraduate students.
Conduct and contribute to original research in the field of specialization.
Publish scholarly articles and academic papers in peer-reviewed journals.
Mentor and guide junior faculty members, including Lecturers and Assistant Lecturers.
Lead and participate in curriculum development and periodic academic reviews.
Ensure quality assurance and continuous improvement in teaching and assessment.
Establish and maintain academic collaborations with other institutions and universities.
Undertake departmental administrative duties as assigned by the Head of Department.
Participate in university-wide initiatives and contribute to community engagement programs.
Support the Head of Department and Dean in providing academic leadership and direction.
Perform any other responsibilities assigned by immediate supervisors.

Academic Qualifications:
A minimum of a Master’s degree in Pathology or a related discipline.
Evidence of pedagogical training or teaching skills is required.
Teaching and Research Experience:
At least five (5) years of teaching experience at a recognized institution of higher learning.
At least three (3) years must be at the Lecturer level.
Supervision of at least three (3) graduate students to successful completion.
Publications:
A minimum of eight (8) recognized publications in the relevant field.
At least three (3) of these should be recent—within the last three years.
Professional Attributes:
Proven ability to contribute to academic leadership, research, and teaching excellence.
Strong service record and commitment to academic growth.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated computer proficiency, particularly in academic and research-related tools.
