VACANT STAFF POSITIONS
Lecturer – Chemistry (PU6.1, Ref: MU/AC/3.3/2025)
Purpose:
Teach and develop chemistry courses, supervise students, and contribute to research as part of the academic team in the Chemistry Department.
Duties, Roles and Responsibilities
Deliver lectures and oversee laboratory sessions for chemistry courses.
Supervise undergraduate research projects and practicals.
Conduct or collaborate in research projects and disseminate findings.
Contribute to curriculum development, assessment design, and course evaluation.
Participate actively in departmental and university academic committees.
Qualifications, Education and Competencies
Typical Qualifications & Experience:
Master’s degree in Chemistry or closely related area; pursuing or holding a PhD is an advantage.
Prior university-level teaching and research experience.
Familiarity with lab management, safety protocols, and academic administration.
